Configuring WIFI on a Sangoma S705
WiFI is only supported on the Sangoma s705 IP Phone
For WiFi-only Setup the external AC Power adapter is required (sold separately)
Enabling Wi-Fi
- Press the Menu button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

- Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Wi-Fi option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

- By default, Wi-Fi should be set to Manual Mode. Press the Enter button

- To enable Wi-Fi use the Switch button to toggle Wi-Fi On. Then press the Save button


- The phone will save settings and reboot in order to activate Wi-Fi

- Once the phone has rebooted, a small Wi-Fi icon will be displayed at the top of the home screen

At this point, the Wi-Fi feature is enabled but not connected to any Wi-Fi networks (as noted by the small red x).
To connect to a Wi-Fi network follow the next steps
Connecting to Available Wi-Fi Network(s)
- Press the Menu button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

- Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Wi-Fi option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

- By default, Wi-Fi should be set to Manual Mode. Press the Enter button

- Use the down arrow button to highlight the Available Network(s) option, then press the Enter button

Use the arrow button to highlight the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to, then press the Connect button.

- You will then be prompted to enter the password for this Wi-Fi network. Use the phone's keypad to enter the password, then press the Connect button.
(Note: Use the 2aB button to select between entering numbers, lower case letters, and upper case letters).

- The Phone will connect to the selected Wi-Fi network

- Verify that the phone is now connected to the Wi-Fi network by identifying the Wi-Fi icon near the top of the phone's display


- To identify the IP address of Wi-Fi connection simply press the check-mark key on the phone twice


Manually Entering Wireless Network
- Press the Menu button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

- Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Wi-Fi option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

- By default, Wi-Fi should be set to Manual Mode. Press the Enter button

- Use the down arrow button to highlight The Storage Network option, then press the Add button

- Using the phone's arrow keys and keypad enter in Wi-Fi network details (Security type, SSID and password).
Once completed, press the Save button

Disable Wi-Fi
- Press the Menu button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

- Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

- Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Wi-Fi option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

- Press the Enter button

- To disable Wi-Fi use the Switch button to toggle W-Fi Off. Then press the Save button


- The phone will save settings and deactivate Wi-Fi
